Royston Mark Joseph - Personal Profile
I was born on May 11 th 1981. I am of West Indian origin, but was born in the UK. I attended school at Grange Primary and Secondary School in South Ealing, and Cardinal Wiseman RC High School in Greenford, both in West London.
I did my GCSEs, GNVQs and A levels at Cardinal Wiseman, then I moved on to do a course in Art and Design at Harrow College in North West London.
After that, I spent a couple years looking for work until I managed to get onto a course that taught Desktop Publishing.
Through them, I was able to get onto a couple of courses at the London College of Printing (Now known as the London College of Communication) in Elephant & Castle, Central London.
One of the courses I attended was an Introduction in Digital Media. This course included knowledge in Web Design, Flash animation, Audio and Video editing.
I eventually ended up working for the organisation known as the Acton Training Centre. Even though I had never worked professionally before, the skills that I had acquired on the courses I’d done previously, I was able to adapt to the numerous tasks I had been given. After a 6 month period, I gained the position as Acton Training Centre’s Graphic Designer.
I’ve been at ATC for about 4 years now, and on top of my regular jobs, I have been dabbling in some freelance work for other clients. I can design anything from Business Cards and Letterheads to Posters and Leaflets. I’ve even designed a couple of websites (mine included!).
If you live in London (primarily the West London Area), and are interested in professionally designed material at a relatively cheap price, feel free to contact me in my e-mail with information on the kind of thing you’re looking for, and I’ll be more than happy to lend you my skills!
